Cape Harbor Motor Inn

Excellent customer service! We were booked for 3 nights and had to leave for a family emergency after the first night. Tony the owner credited us for rescheduling 2 nights. Mary Ann was not only super friendly and helpful but personally concerned. We have stayed at many places over the years and Mary Ann is the best of the best! It's so nice to stay at a place where you are treated so kindly. The quiet location is ideal and the efficiency was clean and roomy. We came last year and we plan to return next year. Thank you Tony and Mary Ann!

I am staying here right now with my family. We like it a lot! This is a solid motel that's extremely clean and well kept, with very sweet and accommodating staff and a surprisingly large, sparkling blue swimming pool. The staff are kind and reasonable with allowing us to check in early and use the pool until our room was ready. They seem flexible and reasonable with pool opening/closing times, we noticed. They're very friendly on the phone, too. Just that level of hospitality is refreshing and started us off enjoying our time here. Yes, it could use some cosmetic updating in the rooms for sure - the whole place has sort of a 60s/70s mom-and-pop roadside motel vibe and some of the furniture is a bit run down. My family and I have stayed at the Cape Harbor Motor Inn twice in the past two years-once in 2023 and just this past week. I'll start with the positives. The office staff are friendly and helpful, the location is great, the room was clean, and the price was great. However, you get what you pay for. The pictures on the website look nothing like the rooms. An M2 room is extremely small...difficult for a family and all our stuff. The room had a musty/moldy smell, rusty door hinges, rusty shower hooks, the shower head was brown, the ceiling light was out and broke, beds with only sheets and a fleece blanket (no comforters), a splintered bathroom door, a patched area on the shower wall, chips in the shower stall, a light out in the bathroom, no cover on the bathroom fan, two different bathroom

Positive: The location and convenience was what sold us. We were visiting family and it was within walking distance to their home. Negative: We were surprised to find it wasn't heated and the room was 50 degrees on a cold Memorial Day weekend. We were able to borrow blankets from the family. We also had to request more K-cups for the other three mornings.

The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. We received enough towels and shampoo and soap. The staff was so kind and nice. Pool was nice. We enjoyed our stay. Parking was on hotel premises.
