Canyon Lake RV Resort

This is a place where people live permanently or seasonally, but they will rent you an unused spot for a shorter time. We stayed 2 nights when we were in the area for a funeral. The staff os nice and they keep the place clean. The pool area was well taken care of and actively used by the tenants. The gazebo and other wooden structures are definitely aged but seem to be sturdy. It is a 55 and up community, but they didn't ask our ages when we made the reservation or when we checked in. We aren't far from qualifying, though. ;) We would definitely consider staying here again.

Cautionary Advice We spent 2 months at Canyon Lake Resort in Palmhurst TX. and it was the worst experience we have ever had. When we arrived there was no water, no bedding, no kitchen supplies, the tv was sitting on the floor, no trash cans anywhere, no curtains on window, and a toilet seat that didn’t fit. When they finally figured out how to turn on the water the water heater didn’t work. This was only the start of other issues including a stopped up sewer that took over 2 weeks to fix. You can imagine the smell. You might think this is an exaggeration but it’s all completely true. All this and they have yet to return my deposit after 2 months BE VERY CAREFUL AND PASS ON TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT CANYON LAKE RESORT

I stayed at Canyon Lake Resort while visiting my boyfriend while he is here for work! Definitely well maintained. Pool n hot tub are a plus! Very scenic n lots of places to just sit n relax all around the resort! Will definitely stay again if we are in the area!! (Reasonably priced as well!)

We really enjoyed our visit here. This place has a great layout and friendly staff. The pool area with the hot tub over looking the lake was awesome. Very clean shower rooms and restrooms. We highly recommend this little resort. Be sure to check out my full review @smashingbugz on YouTube!

Friendliest group of people ever, park is well cared for, lots of people busy keeping it looking beautiful. Landscape is perfect, many plants and shrubs blooming that seem to attract butterflies.
