The Bungalows on Shary

This was my first time staying here and it was such a beautiful place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were extremely clean. I would definitely recommend upgrading to the Deluxe King Suite they are very spacious and worth it. I loved the little details, from the shower slippers and toothbrush to the daily toothpaste kits and the scent machine that keeps the room smelling amazing. Everything felt fresh and well thought out. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I will absolutely be coming back!

If you’re in the Mission–McAllen area, stay at Bungalows on Shary. It’s nothing like a typical chain hotel more like a cozy, modern retreat. Tile floors, comfy beds, a warm living space, sleek bathroom, kitchenette, and everything spotless with crisp sheets and plush towels. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the chef personally prepared a hot breakfast, and even the coffee was top-notch. Truly five stars, thank you!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the bungalows from 2/12 - 2/16 while visiting family. We were extremely impressed with the room and amenities. The cost was a nice surprise when compared to larger hotels in the area. The breakfast was great each day that we stayed. We will definitely recommend The Bungalows to our extended family in friends while in town and will stary here again.

The rooms are very clean and spacious, they have their microwave fridge and stove.. the environment is very clean and the staff is very nice and attentive.. the girls in the front desk are very efficient and friendly.. I had a great experience staying there and will definitely stay again .

I had high hopes for my stay at The Bungalows on Shary because the room truly was lovely and relaxing. Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by poor communication and an unresolved billing issue. Before my stay, I was charged a “no-show” fee even though I had already paid the full amount upfront. My original flight was canceled by the airline, and I arrived the following day. I called and explained the situation, and an employee told me that the manager would review it and that such fees are often waived as a courtesy. I appreciated her understanding and decided to rebook another stay, trusting that the matter would be resolved. During checkout, however, things went downhill again.
