Canyon Inn Motel Flagstaff

I stayed at the Canyon Inn Motel on a limb for a last second trip with my wife and kids, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Going into it, I wasn’t expecting much due to how small the property is, but this place ended up far exceeding my expectations. What started as a simple, convenient stay turned into an experience defined by comfort, cleanliness, and truly outstanding customer service. At one point during our stay, I had an issue where I thought something important was lost. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help me look for it and worked with me patiently until the situation was resolved. That alone says a lot about how much they care about their guests. I’ll admit, I initially judged this place by its cover, but I was proven completely wrong.

This was a great stay. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to NAU, also it was the most economical so we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Our room was new, upgraded and very clean. Our arrival time changed several times because of the erratic train schedule but the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place and will stay here again on the next visit.

Positive: Location! Negative: Sheets kept coming off the bed

Great little motel close to downtown. Angie provided excellent customer service! The only downside was the room could have been cleaner as there was hair in the bathroom and food stains on some of the furniture. It wasn’t horribly dirty, but definitely could have been better.

Great motel within a few minutes walk from downtown Flagstaff. Check-in was quick and easy, the room is spacious, bed is comfy, and even though it's on the main road, it was really quiet. I'll definitely stay there again. Update 2026: second time here, great stay. Nothing beats this location. Room was clean, heater worked great (it was cold outside!) and they got a new coffee machine in the lobby. Well done! I'll be back!
