Customer Reviews
I stayed at Canopy by Hilton -Embassy Row for a business trip and needed a place for just one night. The hotel is in a great location and was very accommodating throughout my stay. My room was perfect—very spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and get some work done. The only minor downside was that the elevators were a bit slow at times, especially since they’re shared with housekeeping staff and carts that take up a good portion of the elevator cab. Overall, a solid stay and a great option for business travel in DC. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Positive: Beautiful and spacious room. Negative: The gym space had limited weights under 30 lbs. the water station is outside of the gym (there isn't any signage indicating that) and only small 8 Oz cups are offered. If you want to be sustainable, I'd recommend offering a branded water bottle to guests
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Row Canopy by Hilton. We trekked down to DC for my birthday weekend, and we would stay again. Here were some highlights: Positives- 1. We had an early flight into DC, and the front desk staff helped accommodate an early check-in, which was so appreciated. The staff at the on-site restaurant were also so nice, and truly exuded hospitality. 2. The location is great! We exclusively used the DC Metro on our trip for transit, and loved the proximity to the Dupont Circle station. The location was easy to find. I loved going on outdoors runs along Embassy Row and soaking in the history and local feel. There was an embassy party one night as we walked back from the Metro, and that was so cool to stumble upon. Area for Improvement- 1. The only small for
I love staying here. The staff is great, and I really appreciate seeing the same familiar faces visit after visit. Everyone always goes above and beyond with customer service. The beds and pillows are super comfy, and the towels are soft, fluffy, and large—which makes a big difference. As always, thank you to Amin, Ivon, and Antony—and the rest of the team—for making every stay such a great experience. If you want it even more relaxed or shortened for a quick review, just let me know.
Comfortable and great stay. A longer walk from the Farragut Metro stops but worth the walk. And a safe walk on 17th to Rhode Island. This hotel has a boutique feel and is very welcoming. Rooms are fairly large and clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Super convenient restaurant with tasty drinks and assortment of wines and beers. It is independent from the hotel, but you can still redeem daily Honors food and beverage credits. I look forward to visiting again.
