Canopy by Hilton Philadelphia Center City

Great location in city center, easy to around. The staff are all very hospitable and helpful, and made sure everything was in order for check-in and out. They also accommodate luggage storage easily. Everything was thoughtfully designed and decorated, it felt quite upscale but not stuffy. The room and bed was comfortable with a coffee maker. The cooler fridge wasn't working which wasn't that big of a deal for us. The bathroom was roomy and the shower was also spacious with great water pressure. We heard one of our neighbors laughing at night so we had to play white noise to sleep, I'm not sure if that's the usual case with the rooms or if this neighbor was just extra loud. Staff is great. Location is great. My +1 and I did not do valet and instead found parking elsewhere. Gym is good. ‘Premium’ room is spacious and nice. Overall decor of the hotel is nice. Despite all this, in the three nights here we did not get one full night’s rest because of the (1) sunken mattress, and (2) loud vent/AC when trying to keep the room cool for sleeping. It’s really disappointing given the price point of this place. Maybe management should take that $ and invest in new mattresses. We love the city, but unfortunately won’t be back here specifically due to the sleep situation.

Disappointing for a Canopy Collection hotel, even in a city. The room was dirty (dried urine on the toilet, dirty floors, and hair) and the lamps on the bed were broken when we arrived. When we told the gentleman at the front desk about it all he did was say, "Thanks for letting us know." He didn't offer to fix or clean anything or change our room (the hotel was not full). An important additional note for this hotel: Plan an additional $70 per night over whatever your rate is for valet if you have a car. The posted rate is $57 (excessive enough) but then there's an additional $13 in "parking tax". I've experienced a lot of excessive parking fees since 2020, but this one takes the cake as being the highest and takes 40-60 minutes to get your car. For that rate, it seems like they should at
