Walls are thin so any noise above a whisper can be heard. If our neighbor went to the bathroom we could hear it. Heard every toilet flush. Showering before 9am? forget it. Having friends over for a drink after 9pm? too noisy. Want to watch a movie at regular volume? No way. Heat something in the Microwave before 9 am? Noisiest Microwave oven we’ve ever used. |• Noisy Neighbors? Want to sleep? Just put in the earplugs they supply and turn on the “white noise” machine!|• SMALL queen size bed|• Mini fridge kept items “cool.” No ice, no freezer, not cold. Aesthetically, this place is super cute and really clean. We stayed in the Hyatt room and the deck was awesome with a beautiful view of the harbor. Unfortunately, that’s where the good things end. ..||- This building was NOT built to be a ‘hotel’. The walls are super thin, but even worse, the doors are hollow core with a huge gap between the door and the floor. We could make out every word of every conversation that all 3 of our ‘roommates’ said. Luckily, we’re heavy sleepers, so it didn’t disrupt our sleep, but I don’t know that our ‘roommates’ all had the same experience. This location is managed by San Juan Islands Management. The location is Great to town and attractions and a great view of the harbor, BUT that is it. The building is split into to 4 rooms with paper thin walls so there is no privacy in the rooms. The first night was terrible for any kind of rest. The people in the next room were quit active during the night and when that settled down the person in the room across the hall was snoring quit loudly. The lady from San Juan Properties emailed me the next day asking how our first night had been, When i explained to her in detail how uncomfortable it was and that the neighbors were quit loud during the night. ||||She explained that their office had no control of the other occupants activities or loudness of there sleep or the thickness of walls
