Candlewood Suites Memphis East by IHG

The front desk staff have been the best ever! They go over and beyond. This will be my go to, in town hotel. The hotel is clean and smells nice. The rooms are spacious. The beds are very nice and soft. I only wish they had breakfast but there are a lot of options nearby, even walking distance. Walmart I literally down the street, and walking distance if you need to. I am enjoying my stay.

Great hotel. Clean, super helpful staff! Well lit parking lot AND extremely convenient location. Well stocked full kitchen with utensils and cooking was very easy to do. The shower water pressure WAS great and the temperature of the water and the ability to be able to make it hot and it stay hot for the entirety of the shower is a MAJOR thing for me!!

Everything from the front desk staff to the perfect setup of the room was fantastic. The refrigerator/freezer was spotless, cold and had no weird smells. The water pressure in my shower was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean, no weird cleaning agent smells, lots of pillows and blankets on the bed.

As a single female traveling alone the location felt very safe. The facility as a whole and room itself was very clean. The mattress was practically new and comfortable, and the sheets were super soft. Having a kitchen would be great for a long term guest. No breakfast but the coffee is brewed by the cup and infinitely better than what I get at my usual Hilton hotels. My only gripe was how noisy it was in the first floor close the elevator, lobby, and parking lot. Bring some ear plugs and you’ll be fine.

(Updated to respond to the hotels response) I didn't really agree. I just didn't want to argue. They did refund my night and gave a whooping 5000 points. Hahaha the pictures show how filthy they are. I'm even considering calling the health department. Look at other people's comments as well. IHG should take away the franchise rights from the owner of the hotel. The owner should consider leaving the hotel industry completley. People who run a business that disgusting, should be fined out of existence by the health department. The worst stay I have experienced in over a decade. I stay over 200 nights per year in hotels.
