From our first impression at the entrance to the moment we checked out of the hotel, everything was a disappointment. The front doors of the hotel are locked and require a key access after 7:00pm every night. We arrived around 8:30 and had to wait for the desk agent to see us before the doors would open. The agent who checked us in acted as though we were just there to scam the hotel. The room itself appeared not to have been updated since it was built. Cleanliness was not a priority and there signs of recent drywall work all over the bathroom. White chips and dust covered the bracket for the communal amentities in the shower and on the floor. Upon arriving to the property the young black man that greeted me was a JOY and the only friendly staff that I interacted with. My room (321) was an absolute mess! The room was dirty and in a state of disarray. I asked the young man to accompany me to the room to view it. He then stated that the room was in a state of undress that housekeeping must have used that room to train new staff without notifying the front desk. He promptly moved me to a new room on a new floor as the 3rd floor smelled disgusting! I mean the entire floor had that smell. In my new room the sheets had red fuzz on them, the table was dirty and there was not a bathroom trash can nor blow dryer. The room also had a very noticeable smell. I recently stayed here and genuinely found no problem with the hotel. The staff is great and knowledgeable and it looks like they’re making improvements all around to the rooms and property. I’ll be coming back here whenever I’m in town. The fact that it’s also near a lot of great restaurants makes it an easy choice to stay at. Highly recommend.

They are very discriminatory when it comes to to placement of rooms. The bed and pillows were very comfortable but the smell is hideous. And the roaches are bad. I don’t come here with roaches so I don’t want to leave with them either!!!!! The front desk lady gave very unpleasant looks because I complained that there were roaches!! She portrays to be kind and professional but on the other hand very judgmental and unjust. She also reported to the third party companies that can also be used to book that the rooms were full but when visited other sites they were 5 rooms available! She did this to force guest to use higher paying websites like IHG and higher paying companies! Friend checked in this past September 19th Friday, 2025! Unfortunately front desk night worker is incompetent to begin with. Got assigned Room #204 on purpose cause this hotel does room placement control. Please be aware that this hotel's seems to practice selective room placement intentionally. Unfortunately certain guests are assigned substandard rooms. The room we got the AC unit is broken and set at a certain warm temperature word automatically turns off every 15 minutes. Fan speed is not responsible either and the unit is old and damaged which is a safety and electrical hazard since the top is exposed open with the inside wires.
