Candlewood Suites Chattanooga East Ridge, an IHG Hotel

This hotel is easily one of the best I’ve stayed at in Chattanooga. I have had absolutely horrible experiences with a bunch of other non-IHG properties in the city, but this one was incredible. The room was spotless, the kitchen in my suite was awesome, and the staff was incredible. I especially want to say that Dan at the front desk was so nice, I showed up while they were still cleaning and he went in search to find me a room. I was so exhausted at that point and I really appreciated him going above and beyond to get me into a room ASAP so I could rest. And every time I saw him during my stay he was always smiling and so nice. 10/10 highly recommend, and will absolutely be staying here every time I’m in town for work.

Upon booking, I was charged nearly $200 more than the quoted reservation price. The advertised amenities, including an indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, and an oven, were not provided. The kitchen facilities were limited, consisting solely of two pans, two lidded bowls, a plastic spoon, and a strainer. The ice machine is located in an adjacent, less-than-ideal hallway of the neighboring Motel 8. However, the establishment is notably accommodating towards pets, and the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. In the future, I will meticulously verify all advertised amenities before making a reservation.

The room and bath were spotless and comfortable however the kitchenette was frustrating. The refrigerator was barely below room temperature, (freezer was good) . The two burner cooktop would not turn on. The TV remote was so simple it was impossible to figure out how to change channels. No instructions provided.| Breakfast not provided. Coffee maker in room offered only one caffinated package of coffee that using half the water capacity of the coffee pot, was very weak and of poor quality. Basic room was excellent, amenities were poor.

I needed a place to stay while traveling due to being exhausted at 10 pm and I called and asked for a room along my route that was pet friendly. Got this one right away. This place was very clean and comfortable. We all slept great. The beds are super comfortable! Nothing happened to my car in the lot as I worried it may not be safe. I would recommend them ! Gonna stay again in one of these since I need pet friendly ! The front desk people were all nice and helpful! Thanks !

We checked in rather late with no issues at all! The young man at the desk even rushed to the door to help us hold it open. Super sweet of him! Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, shower was clean. The room overall was super nice, the price was worth it. Candlewood is our hotel of choice and they just keep reminding me why! Thanks guys for a a really good, much needed night of rest! PS the the ac was heavenly🫶
