Candlewood Suites Buda - Austin SW by IHG

I have to say, the staff was really friendly and super helpful. They were always there to make check-in and check-out a breeze, making you feel really well taken care of. The rooms were spotless and kept in excellent shape, and they had everything you needed.

After a long 18 hour drive, my bf & I were ready to check into our hotel next door but we came into chaos (their fire alarm was malfunctioning, for the 3rd night in a row said other guests & some were stuck in the elevator). We canceled asap & came here to Candlewood where Vee was so kind & helpful - even with it being last minute and 1030PM on Christmas. She made sure we had everything we needed & the check in was so quick and easy. Would definitely stay here next time we’re in TX! 😊

I am writing this review to give my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION and APPRECIATION to the staff at the Candlewood Suites in Buda, TX Austin SW. I have visited this hotel about 3 times so far. This is where I book my stay every time I go to Austin to visit family. I get the king bed suite with the living area. On every visit, The rooms are always the same. Clean, spacious, and very accommodating, however with each visit, the staff gets better and better and better. On my most recent visit, I had the pleasure meeting hotel staff member Vee. She greeted us with a welcoming invitation and was very professional, kind and friendly. We booked this hotel to go visit took a fam member with me who hadn’t seen their family in 10. Since the amenities of the hotel has a full kitchen, we figured we’ll cook a small little dinner for the family to come visit since the room that I had initially booked was a suite with a living area due to the family member sleeping on the couch. Upon arrival we check in. It is not the room that I rent it And we could not be moved because the room that I initially rent it we’re all taken very disappointing after driving 3hrs they wanted to discount five dollars off my stay provide me a rollaway bed at no charge, but they added an additional points to my membership. The family member was an older gentleman who didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in our room in a rollaway bed with me and my husband

The room was spacious and included a reclining chair and a small kitchen, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, for the price, breakfast was not included. The staff were very helpful when our television wasn’t working. The pool seemed to be rarely used, which might explain why it wasn’t very clean when I went for a swim. On the positive side, the laundry machines were complimentary, which was a nice perk.
