Candlewood Suites Baton Rouge - College Drive by IHG

The most pleasant part of my stay was the staff. Mr. John was very polite, professional and compassionate. He assisted wherever we needed help. If we requested something he and his staff were very quick and willing to help. The rooms were clean and well stocked. My kids enjoyed themselves as well. There was plenty room to move around. Our stay was comfortable and peaceful. The kitchen has all the amenities.( Cookware, dishes, and dishwasher). The beds were comfortable, clean and well sized. Easy wifi access. Coffee, ice and other snacks were available 24/7 in the cupboard. This experience was a great one. We thank everyone there for all their hard work.

Quiet and private. Limited food choices eg frozen carbs but free Coffee. Coffee makers in Rooms need upgrading. Television in Rooms need upgrading to provide YouTube and Netflix.

OK, I have stayed here multiple times and it's not going to win the best hotel award, but it's a good, clean place at a good price. I actually had others who had no betting interest in the place and they were very complimentary of the spaciousness and quality of the rooms. Very happy with the value and will stay here again.

The mgr, Joette, and asst mgr, Colin, are the BEST team ever! We were last-minute guests that required a roll-in shower and they delivered. The customer service and courtesy that we received from Joette and Colin was SO much more than what we had expected and we are very grateful to them and the rest of the staff for helping us salvage our vacation after a major setback in plans. The hotel is close to excellent restaurants (Acme, Parrain's, and Jolie Pearl) and was a short drive to the Blues Festival. Their ADA bathroom was well equipped and met my husband's needs. I would stay here again!

No complaints here. Check in was fast, front desk was super friendly. The gym had a big sleection of machines/equipment. Plenty of washers and dryers. Its close to the freeway and within walking distance to a waffle house. There's a Walmart, Starbucks, and other eateries only 4 minutes away.
