Campus Inn & Suites Eugene Downtown

I'll start with the worst: the smoke detector went off at 4:00 a.m. because apparently you're not allowed to take a hot shower at that time of day. The room smelled like ammonia and other various cleaners. The bed squeaked and banged on the wall anytime you moved around the slightest bit (like just rolling over). Location wise is a mixed bag. You are right on one of the main kind of downtown Streets, there are lots of college kids with loud cars going by where if you are a light sleeper you might not make it through the night. The only good thing about this place I can say right now is that the staff was attentive and pleasant.

OK, this is really an older motor inn with some fixed-up interiors. Don't expect this is some fancy, big-name chain hotel and set your expectations accordingly. It's got a great location for walking to either the university or downtown Eugene. My room was good sized, with a newer bed, a nice TV, coffee maker, fridge. Yes, the feel of the room was dated and maybe a bit ragged (the under-window heater and a/c unit), but it was a very nice and functional room. My room was to the back of the complex, so it was pretty quiet, but there was occasional road noise. There is also ample, free parking just outside the rooms.||The hotel included a breakfast, which is a nice gesture, but was really very paltry. Positive: Nothing Negative: The bad sheet was really dirty! There are lot of yellow color spots on the sheet. The heater doesn?t work very well. We had to change 3 rooms to get one worked.

Absolutely the rudest and most unhelpful lady at check in. Hassled me for over an hour because she couldn't be bothered to use critical thinking skills. Her computer was down so she couldn't "check me in". She could see the email on her end saying it was fully paid. She could see the information on my phone that I showed her. She even SPOKE to Priceline and they verified it was paid. Could she merely check me in tomorrow morning so I could get to sleep. NO. Want to hold on to my card and drivers license.....I'll come right back to the office in the morning....I just want to get to sleep. NO. Easily the most rediculous situation I've experienced in recent times. Rather play on her phone then keep a customer. There were countless solutions that merely required the hotel employee

Fan in bathroom doesn't work. The breakfast is just snack type of stuff and bagels. The bed sheets had stains on them. The toilet barley flushes. There's a Crack in the bathroom tub. And the shower curtain doesn't even fit the shower area and to top it off its still winter and the heat is off when we got there. Edit it is under DeAnn LePoidevin room 109
