Camden Maine Stay Inn

A thoroughly enjoyable visit. Peter and Janis were excellent hosts. I describe the visit as a combination of southern hospitality mixed with beautiful Camden, which is right down the street. The rooms were spacious, clean and the private bathrooms were very well kept. The morning breakfasts were different both mornings I stayed and both were excellent. Janis is an excellent chef, and the glass walled breakfast room overlooking the expansive garden was beautiful. I really felt comfortable traveling on my own and staying at the Camden Maine Stay Inn. I would highly recommend it for others.

My daughter and I stayed here in May. We loved the beautiful gardens, interior, cleanliness, Janis and Peters hospitably, ALL the books(!), wall art and personalized photography. The rooms are very clean and the attention to detail is amazing. The beds are comfortable. The breakfasts were incredible. On my way home I stopped and purchased the same set of dining placemats that Janis had (and recommended!). My daughter and I both played their beautiful grand piano...sometimes to a small audience. ;) The location is a peaceful short walk to the center of the town. I can't say enough about Janis and Peters desire to help us feel at home and welcome. They are loving, friendly people.

We had an incredible time at this inn! Janis and Peter are the perfect hosts, being available and helpful. They are a wealth of knowledge when looking for things to experience and explore in the area. Our room was on the top floor, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and provided a relaxing sitting area. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and offered more than one area to sit and relax. The location was perfect, and an easy walk to downtown Camden. While close to downtown, the Inn was still peaceful and quiet. We were there for four nights and the hot breakfasts Janis created were consistently delicious. The layout of the Inn and rooms offers plenty of privacy. We recently stayed at the Maine Stay Inn in Camden, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The inn itself is stunning property that has been lovingly maintained, full of beautiful artwork, and charming details that make every corner feel special. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and so thoughtfully presented.||Our room was gorgeous, spacious, immaculately clean, and the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. Five Stars! This was our fourth visit and we have already booked for next year. It would be hard to top a stay here. Everything is perfect...the location, the rooms and our favorite part is spending time catching up with Peter and Janis. We stayed for five nights and we never had the same breakfast twice....absolutely delicious and the presentation is perfect. Over the years we have stayed in several rooms, I am not sure I have a favorite as each one is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. One highlight is the extensive art collection the owners have acquired. They can tell a story about each piece and the overall ambiance creates a very special inn...you will not be disappointed!
