16 Bay View

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at 16 Bay View in Camden. It’s one of those places that feels instantly cozy and welcoming. The fireplace made the room feel so relaxing, the bathtub was amazing, and the beds and sheets were incredibly comfortable. Everything was beautiful without being overly fancy—just thoughtful, unassuming, and so well done. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything, and our balcony view was gorgeous. Breakfast was great, the food overall was wonderful, and every staff member we met was kind and genuine. We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful hotel with a world class staff. Terrific location; so much within walking distance in Camden, and the front desk was really helpful about day trips and car excursions. Lovely rooms (all have king beds) and the bathroom had a wonderful soaking tub. Fireplace was a nice touch. Only drawback was that my room faced the front street and bar across the street dispelled an obnoxiously loud crowd beginning at midnight each night...if you get a room that faces front, ask for another one. Lovely breakfast included each morning and the rooftop bar has fabulous views.

Loved this hotel. The room and public spaces were all comfortable and lovely. The rooftop bar had a fantastic view and is a must visit. The staff was eager to please without being overly attentive. Just the right place for a lovely stay in Camden.

The room itself was absolutely beautiful — two fireplaces, a heated bathroom floor, a soaking tub, and an amazing shower made it feel luxurious and relaxing. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t match the high price point.||Both the bar and restaurant were closed with no advance notice. When traveling to Maine in the shoulder season, we carefully choose hotels based on convenience and available amenities, so finding out on arrival that these were unavailable was a major disappointment.||On top of that, our room was never refreshed. Breakfast dishes were left out all day, even after texting and speaking with the front desk. My wife and I spent 4 nights at the 16 Bay View Hotel in Camden this past weekend. We’re were truly impressed with the property! We booked the Executive Suite in the 3rd floor and I found the room was comparable to the same class suite that we stay in at the Naples and Chicago Ritz-Carlton. Loved the heated floors in the bathroom and the balcony views! They had a nice complementary breakfast from 7-10 each morning, and changed the menu each day. We had cocktails at the rooftop bar one night and the view was spectacular! We also ate at the main level restaurant twice. It was mostly small plates, and the bartenders did a great job serving and pouring great drinks! I might only suggestion is that they have someone at the front desk at all times.
