Cambria Hotel LAX

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The woman at the front desk was overly rude and needs to not work in hospitality. The pool is ice cold and cannot be used this time of year. We asked for the outdoor fireplace to be turned on and they refused stating it was closed due to weather (that wasn’t coming until the next day). There is no hot water in the shower in the mornings. You have to request your room cleaning, which we did but they never came. Later in our stay, they took our dirty towels but did not replace them with new ones. Called and asked for some, waited an hour and a half and they never came. Room keys stopped working multiple times. I would avoid this hotel especially if you have kids. They only allow you to make any sort of noise if you are drunk and ordering drinks from the

Sometimes better than others. In the past they would often forget about our room or catering (three times). Also getting the room cleaned when I’m there for 4 days is near impossible. I’ve seen them forget about certain types of towels. There is one microwave and they don’t clean it. The pantry is often poorly stocked. The hall near the stairwell is ridiculously cold. The elevator is often broken. No breakfast included. On the bright side, the window opens a bit, the water is hot and the stairs are not bad if you don’t mind freezing to get to them. Location is decent, gym is fine, and the fire pit is a nice touch.

I was not informed of the frequency or lack thereof for the cleaning of your room. Was informed after the fact that it’s cleaned on certain days. Asked for towels to take an evening shower and was told there isn’t any and they can serve new in the morning😡😡 never experienced anything like this in a hotel!!! So now I can’t take a shower before bed. Unheard of and front desk has no empathy regarding the issue. Poooor service. And don’t be thirsty after 1030 cuz you can’t buy any drinks to take to your room. I suggest to bypass this hotel for an enjoyable stay

The property itself is very well maintained on the outside and the inside. They’ve got a decent sized lot with self parking available. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.||The room we stayed in was on the top floor and was very clean and spacious for four people. We had a mini fridge as well as coffee maker. There was also a vanity mirror which was perfect for getting ready.||Overall, the proximity to places like the airport, beach, and other LA venues like Intuit Dome was a huge plus and the rate was reasonable for what you get. I definitely recommend staying here if you need to get to an LA venue or the airport.

The rooms are fine. They never actually came through to clean in the 3 nights I stayed but i never needed anything. The trashcan in the bathroom was pretty dirty . Might be time to replace them. Shuttle was prompt otw to the airport. The breakfast buffet is okay but certainly not worth $22 per person. It should honestly be $10 for everyone. All staff was friendly. Just be sure the shuttle driver checks the schedule if you happen to make last minute changes. Overall a solid stay. Bed was really comfy.
