Aloft El Segundo - Los Angeles Airport

This was, without question, one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. I chose the Aloft El Segundo only because my training event was hosted there, and I regret that decision completely. The entire hotel had no heat. Not a broken unit in one room, but no heat anywhere. My room was freezing. The elevators were out of service. The refrigerator and coffee maker both failed. The balcony door would not seal, so wind and rain blew directly into the room and soaked the floor. I had to wedge the ironing board between the desk and the door just to force it shut. When I reported all of this, the “solution” was a blanket and a portable heater. That alone shows exactly how poorly this place is being managed. I asked for another room, and the second room had the same problems. No heat. Door leak

I notified the hotel of my late arrival. I got a response and called for a shuttle. No one answered the phone for 1/2 hr and I had to take a curbside uber 50.00. I chose this location for the complimentary shuttle. The continental breakfast was awful. The charged for everything. I did purchase on line with my reservation the breakfast for 17.00 . The selected offering were a bagel, banana, apple, orange juice yogurt. For 17.00. Totally unacceptable. I was not welcomed nor felt welcomed but rather a burden. The hotel staff is pathetic. The bartender was loud and appeared under the influence. Offered everyone a menus but me and walked right passed me. I guess I wasn’t her people. I asked to contacted by the manager but was not. The reception clerk did apologize for the shut

Positive: Nice small hotel. Clean convenient lobby. Great pool and relaxing area. Comfortable rooms. Exceptionally helpful staff. There is a Walgreens one block down the street and a great burger spot next door to that. Great s burgers. Negative: No.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property was very clean, and the employees were consistently nice and hospitable, which made the experience feel welcoming. It’s conveniently located near the airport, making travel easy, and the comfortable bed ensured a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the good coffee in the morning. I’ll definitely return whenever I need to be close to the airport and my family.

Being that I am a faithful Marriott customer.I really wanted to give a review on this hotel. Pros: The shuttle to the airport and the location is amazing. The staff are very helpful and I think the front desk has an adorable little nightlife with the bar nice music as well as people having the opportunity to use the pool table. I thought that was a cute touch.The beds were very comfortable in our room. Cons: When we were walking to our room, we noticed that there was a portable heater sitting waiting for a customer, and I was wondering why. When we entered our room, it was pretty cute but had a strange mold smell to it. The light fixtures were l rusty with plastic wallpaper. The worst part was that the heater was not working, and during that weekend, it was very cold. I was going to call d
