Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville

Our stay at the Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, which made our experience even better. The valet parking service and the process for requesting a car work exceptionally well — the staff is efficient, organized, and quick. The room is beautiful, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. The beds are excellent, and everything was in perfect condition. Our only observation regarding the room concerns bathroom safety. There are no safety grab bars for support in case of slipping, and the floor type becomes very slippery when soap and shampoo are used, which can pose a risk. I finally got to spend my choice hotels points for two nights here this past Christmas while visiting my daughter. It was a wonderful vacation and I had a great view. The staff was great. The valet parking which intimidated me at first was a breeze and quick service oriented. Breakfast at hemingways was great and I had a great cappuccino. I had to tell my servers I was in no hurry that morning. They seemed a little stressed about a wait. I was having a great morning. I received a neat gift bag for choice diamond status. I usually dont fuss over that kind of thing, but it really was a nice touch and a cool surprise at check in.

Unexpected needed a room for the night while in Asheville. Valet parking was great, checked in with no problems, room was large, very clean and a beautiful view of the city and mountain. Very reasonable rates. Noise level was very minimal, I never heard anyone or anything.

You really can’t ask for a better location. This was near all of the shopping we wanted to do. We felt safe walking basically anywhere we wanted. Every staff member (including the valets) was so nice. The room was clean. The only caveat is the shower was a bit worn down (chips everywhere) and only has 1 glass panel so the cold air came into the shower. Not a dealbreaker for me, it was just something interesting I noticed. I found the bed to be very comfortable, but the pillows are always very squishy. I went through a few reviews before writing this one, and I saw someone say there weren’t any good TV channels. The TV does a weird thing where it shows you the guide on the first channel, and then you have to skip through like 10 more channels to get to the next guide with all the good chan

January 2026... We still have a few more days left in our stay, but thought I'd go ahead and give it 5 stars. Front desk service has been great, and our 12th floor room has been excellent. Room was impeccably clean when we checked in, very quiet so far during our midweek stay, comfortable beds, quiet HVAC, adequate WiFi. Sunset view from our room has been spectacular. Only complaints: the TV works fine, but has almost no channels worth watching... for the price we pay here, couldn't you get us at least a BASIC cable package?
