Bywater Suite Hotel

I have stayed at the Bywater with a group of other adults during a weekend in January for two years in a row. It is a really fun place to stay! All the front desk staff have been extremely friendly. It has been quiet and peaceful and clean. It has a gated parking lot, which feels safe. It's an easy rideshare trip to go down to the French Quarter. We love walking around in the neighborhood too. Hopefully, sometime I will get to go when it's warm and make use of the pool. Great place to stay!

Bywater Suite Hotel – Honest Review The goal of this review is to help you make an informed decision before booking. If you’re expecting a traditional hotel experience — daily housekeeping, fresh towels delivered to your room, room service, etc. — this is not that. The experience is much closer to an Airbnb setup than a full-service hotel. First, the area. While I understand this is part of the city and not directly the hotel’s fault, it’s important to be aware. My father’s truck had its windows smashed during our stay, and we learned from both staff and other guests that similar incidents have happened before, including on New Year’s Eve. There is paid parking available, but for four nights it was around $200. For comparison, I don’t pay that for nearly a week at an Orlando resort. The

Great place, very clean. Beautiful building and pool/hot tub. I would definitely stay here again. Incredible value for the price. Maybe clarify parking when you stay. We were able to park for free in the lot, our friends who arrived later were going to be charged to park in the lot so they parked on the street.

I had a wonderful stay at The Bywater Suite Hotel. Aaron & Elexa really helped elevate my experience. They were always helpful and quick to meet any need I had and provided great suggestions of things to do in the neighborhood and other parts of the city. The hotel itself is built into an old school so the rooms are very spacious.The kitchenette and washer were super useful during my week long stay. The hot tub was a great amenity and the pool looked great but it was too cold to swim in. The location was very safe and I walked to and from the hotel countless times over a week. There are plenty of local bars 5, 10, and 15 minute walks from the hotel and a number of great restaurants including The Joint and Jacks Dempseys. 10/10 definitely recommend. I absolutely love this place. The room was very quiet as well as the neighborhood. They have a few restaurants that were walking distance that were recommended to us and had amazing service. We definitely recommend JusTini’s to eat. Our concierge was so polite and helpful. He helped us get in the room and helped us with anything we needed. He always greeted us with a smile which made us feel so welcomed. The pool and property was everything. Everything was clean from the room to the whole property. We will definitely be staying here every time we come to New Orleans.
