Buttonwood Boutique Hotel

Wonderful from start to finish! Communication throughout whole process was on point. We had a cousins Christmas in Cape May. We occupied four rooms, sat around the woodburning fireplace catching up over wine and telling stories from back in the day. It SNOWED overnight—place looked beautiful! Went to pancake house across street—was minutes to everything. We WILL be back!

We had a wonderful one night stay over Labor Day weekend. We wanted to spend one night in Cape May and two nights in Wildwood so it was wonderful to find this hidden gem that allowed us to stay without a 2 or 3 night minimum so we are grateful. We stayed in cottage A which was basically like having our own mini house with parking right outside. Nice set up with kitchen area and sleeping/living area. Great location away from the busy mall area but close enough to walk there in 10–15 minutes. Multiple restaurants and mini golf within a 5-10 minute walk. Will stay again.

We stayed here during off-season/ mid September and paid about $500 for one night. Check-in was easy - Owner provides codes to the doors and dedicated parking spot via text on the morning of the check-in date. We stayed in Suite 1 - which was right next to the entrance. If possible, ask for a different room if you're assigned to Suite 1.||Pro: Location is superb! Only 10 min. walk to the Washington Street Mall. Plenty of restaurants close by - breakfast restaurant right across the street. Maybe 15 min walk to the Beach. |Room has a king size bed, tight bathroom though. Lovely Decor! Beach chairs and Beach towels are provided. Wifi password provided near the entrance. Our stay at Buttonwood was perfect!! Lovely room and so many accommodations for comfort. The common areas for relaxing were beautiful and comfortable!! Some things that were offered, coffee, Fresh cold pressed Juices, A wide assortment of Tea. I would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway in beautiful Cape May! Thank you Buttonwood for a memorable visit! We will be returning for more!

We stayed in the carriage house for 1 night. The location was wonderful. The shower was beautifully tiled. Easy parking & easy entrance. Cute prosecco amenities & $10 discount coin for specific restaurants. However, there were SO many spiders & bugs in our room. So much so that I was uncomfortable to walk to the bathroom at night, fearing I’d step on one. A large beetle flew into the plant in the bathroom. Bath mat & rugs needs deep cleaned. There was a lot of dust & cob webs along baseboards, walls, around furniture & crevices. For the elevated price we paid, over $600 for 1 night, I was not expecting such a lack of cleanliness and so many bugs. Disappointed because the place is adorable & has so much more potential than I believe it has been given. I unfortunately don’t think we will be
