Burton's Gatehouse Inn

Stayed here for 2 weeks working on a job in Mansfield. If I'm ever back there I will definitely stay there again. They have a nice staff. The rooms are very clean and nice. Good a/c and heat, and the shower is good and hot. All that, and they had the best rate I could find in town.

Worst hotel to stay at. Very bad service. Paid for a week on Wednesday and left home for the weekend and tried to go into my room on Sunday night as I have been for the past 9 weeks there. The room was rented to someone else because they said I checked out since I took all my stuff like I had been doing the 9 weeks I’ve been there. Tried to explain that I still had 3 more night and the owners just said I was wrong even after I showed my receipt. The owners every agreed that they were stealing from me and didn’t care. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Owners are definitely the worst I have ever felt with. They are theifs

Inexpensive. Very clean, nice updated rooms. I didn't have any interaction with the staff other than a courtesy call as a reminder to be out by 11 so there wasn't an additional fee. The man I spoke with was very friendly. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

Not the fanciest place I've stayed in but very clean. The ppl that own it are very helpful and very nice. Everything worked, tv, lights, a.c. And are on top of covid 19, with sanitizing and making sure guest are safe. And ABSOLUTELY no pets of anykind. Small parking area, so if you are pulling a trailer, boat, etc...there is a truck stop right next door where I'm sure you could park.

Very clean, big rooms, all up to date, on site laundry, Direct tv, wi-fi fridge and microwave, also very comfy beds!!!! Not to mention the price can not be beat! Close to Fred's, Dollar General and Quick stop and 10 miles from the International Paper Mill where we are working!!!!!!
