Best service in the world the owner is very hospitable, and treated me with kindness. Rooms were clean and front desk was very kind.

This is not a 5 star hotel but I have not seen anything of them claiming to be. Our stay was very pleasant. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Yes, it is an older motel and shows signs of that but our room was clean and everything worked. Linens we're clean and bed was comfortable. Other guests were quiet and respectful. I've stayed at higher priced and higher rated hotels that turned out to be nightmares, Budgetel Inn has my respect and my future business when I'm back in the area.

Well... if you're on a budget and need a place to sleep, this is GREAT! The potential of this place is amazing and with attention, love and care this could become a great place. We were greeted by Sherman who is a big wonderful man! He's really nice and accommodating. Houston is NOT PEDESTRIAN friendly so keep that in mind if you're low budget traveller's like myself. Let's start with the positive: The Bed: the cover had a cigarette burn on it but CLEAN Sheets, Comfy CLEAN pillows and no bed bugs. The pool: really clean, tempered water, and high chlorine content 👌 so no sickness or bugs. Location: it's close to East Star Buffet, all you can eat, around 18 dollars and a 5 minute walk. Run Run very dirty rooms sheets and towels are all stained. If you look in their laundry room sheets and towels that are cleaned are laying on floor wall plugs don't work which can be a fire Hazzard bed bugs. These people don't care they just want your money. They use whoever fresh out of jail to clean your rooms in order for them to live there. Health department and fire Marshall's need to make a visit
