Budget Lodge

My father, a WW2 Veteran, passed away before a planned birthday party for him in Eugene. My best friend had booked this hotel for the party, which was obviously canceled. This hotel would not give her a refund. The online advertising says the reservations include free cancelation, buy somehow my friends reservation was made non refundable, which seems very shady. Now I am grieving my Dad while trying to help my friend get a refund. My sister and I walked into the hotel (on our way to clean out my Dad's apartment) and talked to the receptionist, who said she would cancel the reservation. They are still refusing the cancelation refund. Is this how we honor WW2 veterans? We don't have the death certificate yet, so now I have to get a copy if that when it's available and get it to them. Though property was undergoing renovations and upgrades, the experience was excellent. Even though arrival was about 11:30PM the proprietor stepped out of his office to assist us in checking in and ensure we were efficiently accommodated in our room. The room was clean, nice, recently remodeled; spare due to this being an inexpensive motel. The photo correctly represents the room. We do seriously suggest management install shower mats or slip protectors on the shower floor. Strongly recommended for travelers "on the go" (just arrived from airport, needing a very nearby motel room for early departure) or on a budget. 4.5 stars.

Was planning on staying here before an early flight to attend a funeral, due to weather I had to cancel. The hotel went above & beyond & made sure I was refunded for the room. I truly appreciate the service I received, would definitely stay here in the future.

Nice little motel in Eugene. Very clean. Room was small but well furnished. Not the best area but i slept soundly and didn’t hear any excessive noise.
