Budget Inn

I cannot recommend this motel. Rooms are very dated and almost devoid of amenities. Towels and sheets are old and worn. We booked for two nights and nothing was done to refresh our room between nights. Returning in the late afternoon, we found ourselves locked out, and had to request new key cards. Beds had not even remade and towels had not been replaced. We bought bar soap and a small hair dryer since neither was furnished. Its location was right for where we needed to be in Winter Haven.

It was my fault, I tried to save money with a one night stay. I should have turned around when I seen the poor area where the hotel was located. I should have left when I seen the terrible parking lot the hotel had. I should have left when I seen so many residents of the hotel sitting at their rooms doorway, smoking, watching their kids running around the parking lot. The hotel must have quite a few long term residents. I should have left when I was standing outside ringing the buzzer to check in through a small window within what looked like bullet proof glass. I should have left when I went in to the room that reeked of smoke, looked dirty, and had no toilet paper. I couldn't leave when I was in bed listening to all the partying going on late at night, chicken. I was happy I brought sand

This the best hotel in winterhaven. Being apart winterhaven. History. You this 6th St NW. Might get a bad name because of the walkers and local loster. I been in polk county for 19years . I came on the Greyhound bus station. The building is still there . The newest smoke shop in town. Go see my man. He got great price. And customers is the. Best there. At budget inn. The owner and his wife. The nicest people and understanding people. They will have Cynthia my bestie help you . She the best hard workers. She always here to do the job. Then miss Marie. Room was horrible. At first room 24 just smelled like it was overly sprayed with cleaners. The more I stayed the more the smell got worse and I could not stay in that room. When I turned the AC unit on it gave a urine smell to boot. I hopped in the shower to wash the smell off me out only to me molested by the shower curtain. The curtain is so close the warm water pulls the curtain to you. This is an establishment that the health department needs to visit. Should have been given a full refund due to how bad it was.

Stumbled this place on accident. Was on a road trip and needed a bed to sleep in last minute. Noticed this is the kind of place you go to get off the grid. BYO soap and shampoo. Sheets have stains and I could have sworn there was a faint smell coming from them. At least had a fridge and microwave. Tv kept turning off. There were people screaming next door and heard glass breaking. Not the safest place to stay in, but I guess if you're on a budget and you don't mind spending over $100 for a nasty room than this is the place to go.
