Budget Inn

The proprietors are friendly and efficient. The hotel meets basic needs with comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, microwave, free wifi, and lots of tv stations and movies. We stayed one night. It isn't fancy so don't expect new rooms, elegant decor, a pool, or breakfast. It's main attraction is the location. Although Tucumcari doesn't boast any super-nice neighborhoods (that we have ever seen), this hotel is just far enough off the interstate for a quiet night's rest. We have stayed in several other hotels in Tucumcari over the years and heard road noise from I40 all night in all of them. Not an issue here. We slept like babies. We could park our car just outside the door of our room. The hotel has ample parking for sure. The hotel is one storey so no stairs to climb is a plus. It's

Our room was quite nice, and certainly had everything we needed -- fridge, microwave, ice bucket & cups, nice beds, of course a tv, etc. The rooms were nicely rehabbed at some point. And the price was lower than all the other places we checked with. Recommend!

The room was clean but that is about all the positive I can say. The bed was too tall and difficult to get in. There was no clock in the room, no coffee maker and no microwave or refrigerator. The fitted sheets came off the bed if you moved much and they didn't hang over the side much. I think they were queen size sheets on a king bed. The price is lower than anywhere else so it was ok for the price.

This place is a hidden gem! Nice, clean, updated rooms, very comfortable bed, everything works and love the well thought out rooms! A great experience! The price was amazing!

Just a basic motel and priced reasonably for that. Everything worked. There was nothing wrong. The bed was comfortable. Just nothing special.
