Budget Host Inn East End

The Budget Host Inn in Riverhead at the traffic circle is a reasonably priced hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I first arrived there as the rooms are spacious, clean and everything worked as expected. There were an ample supply of bath and hand towels and my room had a small refrigerator. I had a nice desk to work on with my laptop while there, and the TV is available for viewing. The bed was very clean and the mattress comfortable. I have stayed here numerous times while on business the last couple of months and have experienced no issues. The managers always say hello to me on a first-name basis and ask if the rooms are acceptable and if there is anything I needed. All in all, it's a pleasant place for a budget-conscious traveler and I would stay here again.

We arrived prior to check-in time asking if we could check-in early and if there was the possibility of an additional room. The staff gave us a tour of rooms and allowed us to check-in early for the room we had reserved. The rooms are clean and have had updated touches. The bathrooms are clean, and still have the 1950s feel. The pool has a waterfall feature. The breakfast was yogurt, croissants, cereal, coffee and pastries. The location is close to a great bagel shop, theater and park. Would stay here again.

My children and I booked three rooms total, they were filled with mold and unsavory quests. I had to go to an urgent care for a breathing treatment due to the smell in the rooms. I was going to leave however as I was airing out the room someone walked in to a adjacent door leading outside, I was terrified as I was alone with my youngest. I had to physically remove him from the room and kick the door closed as he was not leaving on his own. While waiting for my other son to arrive (as I could not leave my youngest by himself and I was scared to leave) I was overwhelmed and overcome by the mold. I am still sick three days later. The night audit did not speak any English and I had to call my son in law to translate my issues, after my son arrived the night manager came and he walked throu

Positive: The pool was clean and large. Negative: We had a balcony room on the 2nd floor and people chose to use the table right outside of our room to sit at, laugh and smoke weed past midnight on a week night. Not good when Im a business traveler! Questionable clientele hanging out in the lot at night.

This hotel is beautifully located right where the North Fork and South Fork split and really suitable for all kinds of day trips on Long Island. It’s also just a short walk away from yummy food places in the Riverhead town center (I recommend Goldberg Bagels). Parking is free and the staff is extremely helpful and really kind - it was truly a pleasure. We didn’t check out the pool, but would’ve loved to - it looked really good. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated, the infrastructure of the hotel very convenient. There are little barbecue stations, parking in front of all buildings and basics like Tylenol available in the lobby. The price was really good for the value and can’t be beat in the area!! 100% recommend, I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
