Budget 8 Motel

I paid under $50 for a room for the night, so I didn't expect much. I didn't ask to inspect the room prior to check-in, but the innkeeper next door had me check it out before I plunked down my money because there are no refunds. The heater did not work on the cold December night I stayed there and the top blanket was very thin... even for Mississippi winters. The pillows are too firm and made of foam so I was better off using my hoodie for a pillow. It was not spotless but it was clean enough. I didn't use the wifi.

By far the friendliest group of owners I’ve ever met. Green price for the room and room service is excellent and everyday room service nice and clean hotel

Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Wifi was good. Front desk was very polite.

We wanted a cheap place to crash for a few hours on a road trip. $60 we paid for a room that was the most disgusting place I've ever slept, and i was in the army. Stained sheets, blankets with burn holes, the room smelled like an ashtray even though we requested non-smoking, the bathroom door was broken nearly in half and had no doorknob, just a hole... no smoke alarm, and the a/c didn't work. It was a hot night and the room felt like an armpit. We tried to make it work, we just needed a bit of sleep before we got back on the road, but it was too sinking hot to sleep. When sweat was dripping into my eyes I decided enough was enough and ventured NEXT DOOR to the office to get a new room, and when I mentioned the a/c was not working the employee said "what took you so long?" Stayed here last night only because it was 36.00 and had no money, so glad my husbands money came in. There was drug dealing going on all night didn't get but 4 hours of sleep. uuugh never again! Unless you want bedbugs roaches prostitutes and drugs stay away going to take a bath in bleach and tea tree oil. For real! And wash my clothes thouroughly!
