Bowden Cabins

This place was beautiful but the cleaning was not the best. We were disappointed about the game room being broken as this was a couples trip during a snow storm.. and the hosts just wanted to play a blame game. Could have offered a simple apology.. or “what can I do to make this better?” Instead we were told we could find somewhere else to go for basically pointing these things out to them. I’m pretty sure the customer is always right? At least in the hospitality industry. I hope they can work on this and maybe hire better cleaners so that this place could reach its potential. Other than that.. beautiful house and beautiful location.

This property did not match the listing. Multiple advertised amenities in the game room were broken, and the cabin was not clean upon arrival (dirty dishes in cabinets and flies in the bathroom). When these issues were brought up, there was no effort to address or accommodate them. We were told we could leave rather than having the problems resolved, despite severe winter weather at the time. Based on how this was handled, I would recommend reading recent reviews carefully before booking.

Ashley made it super easy to book and check in. We loved that we could bring our dog, Annie. My teenager enjoyed the hot tub and nearby fishing. The cabin was perfect for our needs, with strong A/C, a full kitchen, and enough cable tv options to satisfy everyone. Very clean and comfortable. My family is already asking to come back next year.

Terrible experience. Cabin not as described in pictures. Almost everything in game room is broken. Flies in the bathroom. Dishes covered in dust and food. Just unclean. Then the customer service…was never offered an I’m sorry or anything.

Great place great time. Beautiful scenes and beautiful cabins with all amenities and rustic feel. Definitely coming back.
