My husband and I booked a suite for 6 nights, pre-paying about a week before our arrival. Upon arrival, we were not able to access the key box because no code was sent. Thankfully a manager was still on site and opened the box finding no key inside. After a wait, she found another key for our use. The room was not a suite. It was shabby and in disrepair, light bulbs out, faucets missing parts. Cell reception was bad. We rolled to the center of the bed all night long. The worst part was the wet floor - apparently water seeping in from the ground. We couldn't walk on it barefoot without slipping. All of our clothes were damp. The next morning we packed up and since no personnel were around, we left and managed to book ourselves into a lovely hotel 3 blocks away. We have been trying to get a

This was the absolute worst experience of my life dealing with this place. First off you cant read your key locks so you have no idea which one you are looking for. I sat outside that stupid place for 45 minutes while calling back and forth trying to figure it out. We finally get the key out to go inside..... its supposed to be quiet and family friendly but there was some serious partying on the 1st floor. (We rented the penthouse) so first impressions HORRIBLE! Especially since they made it a point to message me about not partying. Like wow. Okay. Then we get to the stairs.... the railing was about to fall right off so I couldn't use that to safely get to the top floor. After the mile high climb we made with all of our luggage plus two pups... we try the first key... didn't work.. tried t

835 Bourbon Street sounds like it might be noisy. It is not. I stayed in the room closest to the street and slept without interruptions. The courtyard was an oasis of calm in what can be madness of Bourbon street. This place is almost across the street from the Clover Grill which is open 24-7 a better place to eat than most hotels offer. The host was very personable and helpful without being intrusive. The room was very well appointed, but come on, this is in the middle of the French Quarter. How much time does one expect to spend in the room.

I honestly don’t know where to start. Positive , great location if you like the chaos/ locality of Bourbon st. I picked this place to experience the guest house experience. Let’s start with the smell of musk and mold so bad we couldn’t barely spend anytime in the room. My asthma was so bad the whole time. I had to sleep with my head under the covers to avoid the smell. The other guests said the same but didn’t have my condition and were drunk half the time anyway. THE DIRT ? not clean at all . Zero ⭐️. Run down filthy. Half the lights not working lights falling out of the ceiling .never see service for anything or anyone to address anything. Water leaking from the shower along with the kitchen faucet having to be turned off with care or it will stay running. Dirty courtyard with a fount

In short, the room was damp, dirty, had multiple broken fixtures, and is far below the quality that we were expecting at that price (or any price ). We stayed in Room B which is on the left on the ground floor immediately after you enter the gate. It has NO WINDOWS. As soon as we entered the room were were hit with an overpowering smell of plug in air fresheners only slightly hiding the smell of mold and mildew. There were 4 air fresheners plugged in in just a single small room. The hvac in the room is locked between 70 and 80 degrees and this does not allow the system to reduce the humidity enough. This means that the room is DAMP. The air is heavy with moisture and even if you sweat a little in your clothes, they will be wet the next day. When we arrived back home, all of our belongings
