Boardwalk Hotel Charlee Beach Hotel & Beach House rentals

Place was pretty dirty, lots of hair in the shower, floor and baseboards. Walls were dirty with strange white spots everywhere. Of course the furniture was sparse and cheap. I exspect that out of one of these hotels. But I didnt exspect how dirty the place was. The towels were also damp. Room smelled like chemicals covering up a urine smell. Great location in summer and workers were fine. Honestly they just really need to step up the cleaning. Wipe walls, behind toilets and always clean the shower after each guest. I dont even think the place was swept. Im not picky, but clean is just a basic must.

Was told when I got there I got lucky I was getting an upgrade to a third bed in an adjoining room but really it wasn't I needed to get in there to use the bathroom so...it was just not a nice room it was clean but just not as nice as the room that was in the picture...I'm sure they do this all the time.

We came during November to stay here for two nights. The rooms aren't anything super fancy but it was newly remodeled and pretty nice. They could be cleaned a little better. The room was not grossed by any means but they could do a better job cleaning the floors. The room had a Roku Smart TV. The deck on top had a really nice views of the ocean. It was really nice to sit up there in the open air. Overall it's a really great location for a short getaway and we will definitely be coming back!

I will be back! Off season trip so the desk person met me there, gave me a free room upgrade, and was very accommodating. The room was clean, very spacious, and the perfect location. The best surprise was a memory foam mattress that made me feel like I was in my own bed. The offseason pricing was great, but the boardwalk was a ghost town! I could not find any place for breakfast so we had to leave the beach earlier than I wanted to go find food across the bridge.

We had a very nice stay at the Boardwalk over the weekend. Just note that the room labeled as a "Queen" is absolutely not a queen, it is a full bed. It is very comfortable and had 4 pillows, comforter, 4 towels, good sheets. There is no coffee/tea in room (website says there is). The breakfast place underneath the hotel is good but had one guy working so 30 min wait for grill food so you may want to look someplace else. Great food nearby otherwise. A good value for what it is - clean, comfortable, good directv. You may have to wait to check in if nobody's there, they are busy doing other tasks. Have a great time @ the shore!
