Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Munising

A great hotel! So clean everywhere. Saw staff cleaning common areas often. Even the hallways had vacuum tracks. The pool are and hot tub were great. Clean, nice and perfect. Beds are only doubles and its the same breakfast every morning but for the price not a complaint. Would definitely stay here again. The location was also perfect for exploring Pictured Rocks Lakeshore.

This was a great place to stay! Our first impression was from the young man at the front desk. I wish we would have gotten his name to give him specific praise (he was working the afternoon of September 8, 2025). He was genuinely welcoming, kind, and helpful. The location was convenient to the town of Munising and to the surrounding waterfalls. We also enjoyed the provided breakfast, which was tasty and convenient.

We really appreciated the late hours that the pool and hot tub were available. It was nice to have breakfast available. We enjoyed the hot chocolate from the lobby. Unfortunately, there was a slight moldy/mildew odor in our room that we did not smell elsewhere in the hotel, that was triggering our allergies. I also was hoping for a handicap equipped room to help with my bad leg and back and was told you did not have any. Adding a few grab bars in the bathroom would be much appreciated. It did help that we were given a main floor room. The hotel is in a nice quiet and convenient location. It was easy to find. It seemed like a friendly staff, too.

I should start by saying, I didn't catch his name, but the front desk employee with long hair and beard was outstanding. Was so friendly and on top of things. A gold standard for customer service. Any business would be lucky to have him as an employee. This place is such a breath of fresh air for a "budget " hotel. Very clean. Everything we needed in the room and everything worked perfectly. Good selection of souvenirs in the main office and a cool bar attached. Plus, the pool is oper until 2AM!!

I've stayed here probably 4 times and I like the hotel. The front desk staff is great, the beds are comfortable, and it's a great location. It was 75-80 degrees when we were there and not that humid outside, but the room was incredibly damp inside. I was going to open the window but unfortunately no screens. Turning on the AC made it cooler but the room was still damp the whole time we were there - like dry, clean clothes felt damp when you went to put them on bad. As you can see from other reviews this is an issue that I hope management addresses. On the positive side, the hotel has a good breakfast and a bar inside the hotel. Everything was very clean.
