Bluewater Inn & Suites - Downtown

Located just One block from great downtown shops and restaurants and the waterfront. However the room was VERY noisy from tenants above, window a.c., and old appliances. The space is large with several rooms, kitchen with all basics, but outdated and very simple with no clock, tissues, UBC or ports for electronics. Linens are good and double bed is comfortable, but shower is in a tub with a ring above for curtain. Drain in sink did not work so water didn’t drain. But it was clean and the absent staff is very nice and helpful. This could be great but needs some attention. Very outdated with uncomfortable furniture, but the worse thing is the noise from other tenants whose every word could be heard along with every movement they made above! Horrible- and they were behaving well! Wouldn’t

Great location- so close (very quick walk) to the musical fountain and everything including all the restaurants and shops downtown! Very large apartment style units (large kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room with a pull out) as well! Cozy, very clean and love that there are grills out front and tables to sit at and relax (you can even see part of the musical fountain from them!) Quiet street too and it’s nice to not have to worry about trying to find parking downtown! To go to the beach, all I did was walk the 3/4 mile there and was able to take the boardwalk all the way down! Very scenic and nice stroll! Pricing can’t be beat especially when there is an inn on the same street charging double-triple a night compared to here! So affordable and great value!

Had a wonderful visit! Staff was very helpful and friendly with recommendations for dinner. It’s a bit dated but very clean and is a fantastic location right across from the State Park. I can see where street noise might be an issue in the summer but once it was dark it settled down. We’ll be back!
