Baymont by Wyndham Grand Haven

This was a great hotel for a weekend getaway with the family. Pool and hot tub were amazing!!! Location was great, safe area close to the lake. Definitely recommend

I came in fairly late at night on a family emergency and during a snow storm. Have only visited town in the summer so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was warmly welcomed by two great gals at the front desk and settle into a very comfortable and clean room with a bed that was like a giant marshmallow, but firm! Loved it! Upon leaving my room early in the morning I followed the smell of bacon to what I described as super Denny's almost all to my self!! Eggs, bacon, pancakes, oj. Far better than what most hotels in the area give for a continental breakfast. Didn't get to the pool, but it was 10° outside. Stay two nights, housekeeping was awesome, and I ended up booking my next stay with the ever awesome Leia and Josie in a couple months. Overall, just an excellent stay and there is nothi

My favorite part about staying in a hotel is the breakfast. Not only was there no country gravy, the biscuits for the chili... yes chili lol were way under cooked. The eggs were also pretty wet. The rest of my experience was enjoyable. Staff were great, the rooms were clean, and the pool/ hot tub room is really nice.

I want to start by saying I do applaud the effort and generosity your manager, eric scott, has put into our community to help those in need. It is recognized and appreciated by all in our community. ||||When it comes to the satisfaction of my stay, if I had known the furnace was out, I would not have booked a room here. When I arrived our rooms were freezing. After hours of waiting, it finally warmed up enough for our noses and fingers to not be cold anymore. I was having my sons birthday celebration, he's wanted a pool party for a while now. Members of my family, especially my grandmother, had an extremely hard time getting warm, even in the pool area. ||||The hallways & pool area were so cold, I didn't want to swim. First off I think I would overall stay again. Rooms were a little dark and it hadn’t been vacuumed. I had to ask for it to be vacuumed bc my kids will eat everything off the floor. Front desk people are PHENOMENAL with the exception of Lauren. Or Laura. Everytime I needed something in the morning she was standoffish and had headphones in so I ended up standing for a few minutes before she even noticed me. She couldn’t help us pay for more days either. Which frustrated me bc I have anxiety and was panicking I wouldn’t be able to pay in time (before checkout) because I was told second shift would have to deal with that.
