Blue Horizon Motel

Such a lovely hotel run by such a lovely family. When you make the reservation, you get a cute little card sent to you in the mail making you feel so special. We were going to be arriving pretty late in the day and Mary Ellen and Patrick both said no worries about late check-in and were waiting for us when we arrived. Location is so close to Wells Beach that we were able to walk to the beach and avoid the busy parking. Patrick was such a great host in even recommending places for us to visit during our stay and making sure to say “hello” to us when we ate breakfast at the restaurant next door. Long night of driving didn't even know I was in wells Maine everything was booked or overpriced owner was outside at 10pm rolled down window and asked for a room he said yes I'll get you a room they are old school love that brings heart into it not just a room a experience! Rooms very clean and had everything we needed.

I recently stayed at Blue Horizon, I have to tell you for the price, it was perfect for us. It was clean, neat, and the air conditioner was working great! I would recommend if you plan a weekend up in Wells, this is the place you want to stay. The people at the front desk (Carla) was such a pleasure to talk to and very knowledgeable about the area. Mary Ellen was such a joy to talk with over at their restaurant. Location was easy to beach and back, and plenty of good restaurants in the area.

We have stayed at Blue Horizon now for several weekends, the rooms are always clean and neat. Carla at the front desk is always pleasant, informative about the area. I would highly recommend this location. The Girls from Framingham!!!

Absolutely amazing! The owners were extremely polite, friendly, extremely helpful. The room was great. Super comfortable bed, plenty of space. The shower and bathroom area was huge. We walked right over to breakfast, which is also on site. They have absolutely amazing eggs benedict. Really enjoyed the entire interaction, room was clean and smelled great, would absolutely recommend and stay there again.
