Blue Door Cottages

Our cottage was really cute and clean and we had a great time! It was close to town but also very peaceful! I would recommend Blue door cottages!

Super cute place with friendly staff! Nice lake view across the street. The pool is a plus! The only thing i would change is to put blackout curtains on the windows.

highly recommend. fairly priced. clean grounds. 500 stars for the property and 600 stars for Lucas in the office. our 2024 vacation i rented the bungalow cabin that sleeps 4-6; very accommodating. comfortably, both the kids and adults enjoyed the stay. indiana beach is 5-10 minutes up the street. we will definitely consider staying again.

Monticello, IN is definitely a summer resort type of town; we stayed going through during the springtime because it was a good value for a night. A little chilly but it wouldn't be so bad during hotter months. Rooms were well-kept and the minor issues with the TV were solved quickly. Internet service was lacking but that was the one downside. If you're visiting, you're probably not watching too much TV or heavy on connections. Good access to a main road into town (not more than a few miles away). What was strange though is the crickets. Had a couple in the cottage and smashed them before going to bed. No biggie, sure. But they weren't there when we woke up the next morning. Strangest thing. (Zombie crickets?)

We loved this cottage! Decor was super cute and it had everything we needed. Pool was small but nice. The towels were better than expected however the King size bed was a bit harder than I like. Close to Indiana Beach amusement park and a convenient store about a block away. Will stay there again if we are ever in the area😁
