BLACK SWAN - Liz DC - Executive Flat

Cancelled my booking a couple days before my arrival, made me request cancellation so they don't face a penalty on Expedia. Terrible place, avoid at all costs.

The suite I stayed in was beautiful, and the place was in a great location. The kitchen was amazing, including stove and full-size refrigerator. BUT, (1) there is no desk; (2) there are no drawers in the bedroom! There is a spacious closet but no drawers. Had to stack my clothes on the floor or leave them in the suitcase. (3) There is no table for dining; just a very low coffee table. (4) Bathroom was attractive but totally unsafe -- no grab bars, and the step up to get into the shower was too high and, with no grab bar, too dangerous for someone who is not a nimble young adult. (5) Service was terrible. When I arrived at night, I could only have all of the lights on or all off. I called and the person who answered was very polite but did not know what to do and said I'd have to wait for s

Just stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were dusty, checking staff was unhelpful, pillows were smelly, bedsheets were wrinkled and stained. The fridge also broke half way through our stay and beeped non-stop for 30 minutes. Stay away if you can. Hotels and other Airbnbs will be much better than this. The two stars are for the good location and neighborhood it is in.

This location is nice and the rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a 24 hour concierge to assist and checking in was a breeze. We stayed in the studio queen and it’s just enough space for 2 people. There is a rooftop area to relax and the vibe is nice.

Smelly and musty apartment. Terribly uncommunicative and unhelpful when issues arose
