Black Fern Treehouse

The Treehouse was a great lodging spot while visiting Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and The Smoky Mountains National Park. It felt like our own home with a great kitchen, washer/dryer, and a hot tub that gave the best star viewing at night. Secluded, about ⅓ of the way up Bluff Mountain, it felt like the middle of nowhere, but with all the excitement of Pigeon Forge just 10 minutes away. The treehouse was clean, the owners were responsive, and they provided all the necessities to make our stay enjoyable, and then some. A bonus is that the hot water in the shower seemed limitless.

The perfect couples get away! We had such an amazing stay at Black Fern this past weekend. Its close proximity to great hiking trails, restaurants, and views is just one of the many great things it has to offer. The day bed, hot tub, projector, and fire pits make for a perfect cozy day in as well! There is something so relaxing about waking up to natural light and tree canopy’s in the mornings that it almost made it hard to get out of bed. We were definitely sad to leave but can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I got married this past weekend and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay at. The treehouse is secluded, stunning, and so high tech. We only wish we had more time! For any newlyweds getting married at The Trillium- you can’t beat the black fern treehouse! It’s the perfect honeymoon suite and so close to the venue!

The first thing that stood out to me when I entered into Blackfern Treehouse was how clean it was. Everything was in pristine condition and phenomenally cleaned. I love how it feels like you are truly in the middle of nowhere, yet you're only 15 minutes away from most anything you could want to do in Pigeon Forge. The bed is super comfortable and the hot tub + fire pits are amazing. We spent a lot of time on the swinging porch bed and warming up in the hot tub. The communication with the owners was truly top notch. They were always so quick to respond to messages and eager to do anything we may need them to do during our stay! 10/10 recommend. We LOVED the Black Fern Treehouse! The owners were very communicative and helped us to coordinate an early arrival. The entire space was so clean and exactly as pictured! I would highly recommend for anyone exploring the Pigeon Forge area.
