Black Bear Campground

Tent Camping? Not good. The tents are located in what appears to be a private area. There are houses right next to them. It’s mostly clean. The bathrooms are ok. COLD Showers an are 5 minutes for 50 cents. They do have a smooth gravel road.

First time at this awesome campground. I will definitely stay there again when are traveling that way again.

Pros: Nice facilities and close to the Interstate. Cons: Severe electrical issue. Low amperage kept shutting down my surge protector. From post I read later, this is not a new problem. Campers are packed on top of reach other. I could not open my windows because of the smoke and noise.

The staff at the campground went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had ordered a repair part for our RV to be delivered to the park. It failed to arrive on time. The staff at black bear repackaged the part and over nighted it to our next RV park. The staff was pleasant and nice to work with no matter what we needed. Black bear is definitely a winner!!!

The owner Valerie told when I checked in said 6 days and as long as no issues we could extend for thevtwo weeks well checked in Saturday was at sixflags all day and evening Sunday was out all day and evening Monday and came back to my whole site damaged by there employees and when I asked for my money back for the other 4 days got told no and asked to have it in writing she said no but I had a witness on the phone who heard everything. Stay far away from this place the employee's will do anything to try to cover each other's shady stuff up however I already filed a police report and I have an attorney for the theft by deception against black bear campground. Hate are the pictures and I got told to leave after their employees costed me over 1000 in damages and then told me to leave and scre
