Bishop's Bed Breakfast & Beyond

This building is older, but spacious. It is great for families to gather and meet and share time together. We had about 6 or families. There are nine rooms and 6 restrooms. My family of five were housed in a room with two queen sized beds and a connecting restroom. The best part is the kitchen and the fellowship hall. My grandchildren had room to run. They loved going up and down the stairs. If you don't have the ability to climb stairs, this may not be the best place for you.

The owners were nice, although we did end up waiting outside for a while very confused in chilly weather because they didn't hear us knocking and the door was locked. The rooms are lovely and really interesting. Only a few people can stay at a time so it's very quiet and intimate, it's also very safe. Great ambience inside. One drawback is that it is rather far from the city so you do have to drive for a bit to get there and back, and the bathrooms and showers are communal and down the hall or across the hall from your rooms, so you have to leave your room every time you want to use the restroom. But they are nice, clean, well maintained. Sign out process was a bit confusing, we weren't quite sure how to do it, turns out you just had to leave your key and head on out. Overall nice experien

Look, this place is basically a dorm room. The communal bathrooms are typically clean, but they are shared, so that depends on who your living with. The hosts are nice, but the rooms are very very basic. It's a good place if you've got a large party, but you're not as close to the French quarter as they say, and getting an uber xl isn't likely. Have your transport situation figured out in advance.

Owner was very condescending and not approachable. The way the room listings are posted you need to be mindful of booking this location and to sure to ensure the type of the room you are booking is accurate is truly a "double bed room" and not just a room with one bed for 2 people. The descriptions of the rooms are misleading. The establishment is almost a distance from Bourbon street and not in a well lit area. However if you are looking for something cheap and dont mind sharing a bathroom with all the other tenants then this is the place for you.

The worst experience ever they advertise gated community and it’s fenced in. However the rooms were conjured together. They don’t answer the phone after we realize it was a dump. We are definitely fighting to get our $3000 dollars back. Stay away from these crooks I mean literally run away and don’t look back.
