Best Western Tradewinds

I was so grateful to stay at the Best Western Tradewinds in Morro Bay! I got stranded and called an Uber and was able to find a beautiful, clean room. Lori, the manager was so helpful! She was so kind and accommodated my needs. Her and her staff were friendly and supportive. I highly recommend staying here! It was close to Main Street, which had amazing shops, a great book store, a health food store, and a Saturday Farmer's Market that was amazing, and the Rock was close by too. I enjoyed observing the sea otters and even got to do a sauna/cold plunge located at the bay! Everything I needed was within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

Good customer service and very helpful. It’s in a very nice location which is close to the bay and the beach. The room is clean except the bathroom is a bit too small.

While a bit dated, it fits the neighborhood and provided me a nice stay for a good price. Walking distance to the waterside restaurants & shops, & very convenient to the downtown & Rock areas. Room was clean, the fridge a great size, it was quiet, & the lack of a pool was ok by me. This is not a place to go if you want amenities.|Comments - was missing towels & a bathmat, that was quickly fixed by Janell the next morning. I mentioned it at breakfast & she followed me up (my hands were full) with them & some area publications. Breakfast hours are short; doesn't open until 7:30 so if you need to get up & going this is not your place. Selection small but adequate. Love the yogurt machine! Overall not for everyone, but it was great for me & I'd be back.

I rang the night bell and the owner, Lori, came out visibly annoyed. From the start, she was rude and impatient, repeatedly telling me to “hurry up” and “chop chop” while I was simply pulling out my ID and credit card. After a long day of travel, this was an extremely unwelcoming way to check in.||I informed her that we had two dogs, one of which is my girlfriend’s service dog. Lori was openly skeptical about it being a service animal. Since it is not my service dog, I explained that she would need to speak directly with my girlfriend. I arrived around 10:30 PM on Christmas to find the front office closed.
