Best Western Plus Mentor-Cleveland Northeast

was a very nice stay at this place. The breakfast was down in the basement. which wasn't bad the had (eggs, bacon , hash browns pastry items (toast, bagels,danishes cherry and cheese and toaster waffles. The ice machine was on the second floor of the hotel and when I got up to the floor and went to the ice machine there was no ice so I waited a bit and went back up still none! breakfast was not till 6:30. overall nice place to stay. The Cleveland market was like 33 mins away from hotel. and the biggest candy store was like 30-40 min away from hotel there was a lot of things in mentor for us to do. check in was very ok. You have to swipe in to get in to the room. I would recommend staying here

We were warmly greeted at check-in. The lobby was clean & smelled fresh. Our room was spacious, clean & well lighted. The room was quiet & our beds were very comfortable. ||The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve enjoyed while traveling, starting with a friendly greeting by staff and a nicely appointed dining area with decorations much like a nice. restaurant. There was a good variety of breakfast choices. Things were well stocked & organized. Food was hot &/or fresh.

Very nice hotel! Part of the Garfield estate, so has history. Room very clean and spacious. Breakfast was standard but bacon was really good. Very fresh fruit. All the staff was very friendly. Bonus: big dog treats given to our dog at check in! Will definitely return.

Positive: the breakfast attendant was definitely a plus for the hotel. My wife asked if there was iced tea and he said no, but he could make hot tea and a glass of ice. The next day when we went for breakfast he had her iced tea all ready for her. Negative: The broken elevator

This was a surprise hotel experience. We booked the hotel because we were in town for a wedding. The front desk person was so helpful. We were able to get into our room early with no extra charge. The room and little touches like a dim light at nite by the bathroom, a non-slip shower floor and a grab bar, were unexpected. The breakfast room was set up like a restaurant with round table and flowers. The staff person in that area was attentive and helpful. He told us that this building had originally been President Garfield's tack house. It was a charming place and I would happily return if we were in the area.
