Best Western Plus Madison-Huntsville Hotel

I stay here twice a month and I can honestly say they are very consistent. My room is always clean with plenty of towels stocked up. The front desk lady is very polite and gets me checked in quickly. They are doing some remodeling which I like (other than the sight of it lol). There's nothing worse than a hotel having broke down things. It seems like it's getting harder and harder to find a good value for your money nowadays. The breakfast you get here included with your stay is as good as anything you'll get in any restaurant around you. They have eggs bacon or sausage, AND biscuits and gravy which are huge in the south. They also have a choice of pancakes or waffles and tons of cold stuff like cereal milk, coffee,juice and pastries. This alone pulls this hotel well ahead of the pack com

All of the staff had great customer service and friendly personalities. The hotel was under construction and it is very much needed. I mainly stayed to spend the day at the pool. The pool and the area surrounding is falling apart. It hurts to walk barefoot in the area. The pool and hot tub water was clean. The outdoor furniture was really nice. The rooms were clean. I’m not fond of the scent used for cleaning. Just the structure of the hotel was run down. With that being said, I do feel the rooms are about $25 over priced.

I stay at a lot of hotels for work when I'm traveling & this was actually a great one! All of the staff members that I encountered were extremely friendly & helpful. The hotel & room was very clean. The bathroom was a little small but we don't spend a lot of time in there. The location was really good too & easy to access. I'll definitely be staying there when I'm back in that area.

Positive: The staff cleans very well. The bed was freshly laundered, and there is a restaurant in the hotel. Negative: The room I stayed in smelled like mold and heavy and strong cigarette smoking. It triggered allergy like symptoms in me. I did find black looking mold later on in the room. Maybe an inside facing room would have been a better pick.

Overall i enjoyed my stay, only thing I did not enjoy as much were the bathroom, in the regular king room the bathroom door and tub were tiny compared to the rest of the room. Otherwise bed was spacious and soft, employees were nice. For a weekend the hotel was quite.
