Best Western Plus Houston Energy Corridor

Hotel looked good. Breakfast was good. Only real complaint is I left an expensive toothbrush by accident and called to ask about it and was told all hygiene products get thrown away immediately which is understandable other then the fact you can tell the toothbrush is not cheap. As well as tried to plug my PlayStation into the tv and the tv didn’t recognize it.

Positive: I have to go to MD Anderson so I loved the close proximity to that. Negative: The air conditioner in the room made the carpet wet. The ceiling popcorn/paint was peeling off. One of the plug ins was completely rusted. The bath plug didn't work so you could take a bath.

This hotel is in a great area of Houston. We felt safe here. The free breakfast was great! It includes eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, juice, yogurt, bananas, apples, muffins, bagels, toast & make your own waffles. 2 areas for coffee. There are two elevators. Our room was nice with 2 queen beds. The ac could have been a little cooler-but overall we enjoyed our stay. Great price for this location.

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks while waiting for home repairs. The front desk and maintenance staff were great, but housekeeping significantly affected my experience. Housekeeping only fully cleaned my room during the first week, despite me placing the “clean room” sign on the door multiple times. Most days it was ignored, and on one occasion they only provided fresh towels. I also felt uncomfortable due to housekeeping staff watching, laughing, and speaking about me openly. During breakfast, one staff member followed me closely while I got food, which made me feel unwelcome. In my final week, I switched rooms and found the bathtub was not properly cleaned, even after requesting housekeeping. Because of the uncomfortable treatment and lack of proper cleaning, I would not stay h

The staff is terrible. The manager is a tyrant that think she owns the hotel. Extremely unprofessional she walks around in a night gown monitoring all the amenities. Not a hotel if you have kids with you. One of the worst breakfast options I’ve had at a hotel. The free coffee was the only option I recommend.
