Best Western Plus Hill Country Suites

Came in not expecting much, but honestly have nothing really awful to say. We stayed on the 3rd floor on the back side of the property, and farthest from the elevator.. Very little noticeable traffic noise despite being close to a busy road. Very quiet halls and noise inside the building. There was on site security at night for the parking lot, which I appreciate. Ate the hot breakfast once while there and have zero complaints for a free breakfast. Had a need for fresh towels once, and one phone call and 5 minutes later they were on our door. And the staff was polite. Yeah the rooms have seen better days, but for the price everything was good and in working order. No frills place to stay.

Overall… The state was very pleasant with accommodating staff, good breakfast options, comfortable beds, great water pressure. There was a large group of guests that arrived after midnight on our second night that made the hallway noise a bit excessive but the hotel can’t control that. The room appeared to be mostly clean except for the tile bathroom floor under the counter, which was kind of gross. The breakfast staff were extremely helpful at keeping everything start with a fairly large number of guests. I do wish there was more seating in the breakfast area… Not enough to accommodate everyone that was there on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Positive: Whenever I travel to San Antonio, Texas, I always stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the hotel is located at a great location, and very close to Walmart and Restaurants. Negative: Not at all.

These people made us feel so at home. It was amazing. We ended up getting an upgraded to a beautiful double queen suite separate room in the kitchen everything at that place is really nice in the hospitality. There is spectacular all the girls manager. Everyone just makes you feel so warm and welcome and all that great food in the morning is wonderful. Go ahead and try this place. You might really really find yourself a G!!

The room was freezing during the Winter storm. The AC was on when I entered the room. Front desk said it would take an hour to heat up. It took all night. I asked for extra blankets to keep warm. The bathroom was in poor condition. Breakfast was adequate but also had broken equipment. I don't think they made fresh coffee during the time I was there, it smelled like week old coffee.
