Best Western Plus French Quarter Courtyard Hotel

I went here the second to last weekend of January and the staff were all so polite and helpful. The breakfast hours were great and the food was all still warm when I went down around 9am. It's a lovely little spot right by the street car route if you need to get around the city. It is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the French Quarter so if you stay here be sure to wear some comfortable shoes. I barely took my car out the parking garage because it was overall cheaper to walk from the hotel than driving and finding parking. If you need somewhere quiet, understand that this hotel during Mardi gras may not be the ideal stay for you since you can hear commotion around you. The elevator also took a few minutes to get to us, but they do have an outdoor and I believe an indoor staircase

To start we have a dog, so our room was a corner room, kinda tucked away, but understandable. Parking is a paid lot, but secured, the property is very secure. Courtyard is pretty. Room is not large but very clean with a fantastic bed! Shower is good, lots of little spaces to tuck luggage away. Our coffee maker wasn’t working, my husband no sooner mentioned it and they were here to replace it. Finally they serve an amazing breakfast, I’ve never seen so many great options at a BW. The staff is super friendly, a smile from everyone! I would definitely stay here again. We usually stay at Cesar’s but with the dog we had to choose a different hotel, I am happy we found this little gem!

Positive: The courtyard was perfect. The location couldn't be better. Staff was so helpful. Very walkable to Jackson Square and all around that area. On the advice from staff we did the bus tour. It was a terrific stay. Negative: Paying for parking.

It was a great location and price. For the price paid, your room was pretty nice with the decor and amenities. The breakfast was great! They had a nice assortment. The staff was friendly, especially a the tall, Black gentleman. He helped check in and assisted in the bar. He always spoke and asked how you were doing? The only issue was after returning from our adventures we expected to have our room cleaned (we aren’t messy but wanted fresh towels and linen). When we got back around 3:45 we noticed the room hadn’t been touched since we had been gone since 9:30. We asked the front desk if we had to request, she said no and said she would send someone right over. A little over an hour later, the person arrived and only provided fresh towels. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

This hotel was wonderful! They let us park before we checked in for the safety of our vehicle AND this has some of the cheapest parking in the city at only $25/day! Our room was very clean and welcoming. Even though we didn't get a courtyard room, the view we got overlooking the French Quarter outside of the hotel was beautiful! We were also welcomed by a very friendly cat that we saw catch several mice so we knew this place had top notch pest control! The complimentary breakfast here had an amazing selection and it all tasted SO good. I am definitely coming back to this BW hotel everytime I visit NOLA! I can not give this place enough credit and recommendation!
