Best Western Plus Downtown North

Anyone traveling to San Antonio and looking for a great hotel to stay....look no further!!! This location to me was excellent! The location to begin is wonderful. Immediate access to the freeway to corner stores and restaurants and very close to downtown San Antonio. The room are extremely spacious and when I say spacious I mean spacious. It's so spacious that a couple with babies can literally fit 5 play pens and that's the god honest truth. Another thing that I found amazing was the shower I took. That shower head was so wonderful and full of pressure that my shower was very relaxing. There's plenty of parking here there literally a security guard also and the full breakfast was very very good. I would also like to say the the staff was excellent and very nice. Hotel location is very convenient to go to San Antonio downtown and many other attractions in the city. Our suite room on the second floor was huge and sparkling clean. Television has multiple language features so you can watch in different languages. Beds were very comfortable. Hot Shower was great.|Morning breakfast was excellent. There were almost all the items we needed. Waffle maker, Biscuit and gravy, Eggs Omelet, Bacon, Sausages, potato, Denis Pastry etc. Along with cereals, and multiple number of hot drinks (Cappuccino machine), Yogurt and fresh fruits.

I have mixed feelings about my recent 3-day stay. On the positive side, the room was very clean, the breakfast was truly amazing, and the desk staff was perfectly fine. However, several functional issues would prevent me from returning. The most unacceptable part was having no internet for the entire three days. Looking at other feedback, this seems to be an ongoing issue for the last 8 months. As someone who stays at many Best Western and motel properties, I’ve never encountered this level of technical failure. It’s time for management to consider a new ISP. The room layout was also very "off." The bed box and mattress were incredibly low to the ground, and there was hardly any clearance between the bed and the dresser/TV stand. To top it off, the bedroom TV couldn't get any channels; o

Positive: "" Negative: Bathroom wasn't as clean it could have been. Shower curtain needed attention. Bathroom faucet was held together by tape.? Breakfast was adequately supplied

Location was great!! Quick drive to downtown. The room was clean and fresh. Showers were hot with great pressure. Bed was comfy and warm!! We stayed in a room with a king size bed and still had more room to move freely. We will be back!!
