Best Western Plus Continental Inn & Suites

I loved the rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city skyline. The cocktails were expertly made, and the atmosphere was vibrant. The hotel room was stylish and comfortable, with all modern amenities. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.

The room was really large! Two queen size beds, mini-fridge, microwave and a balcony. It's located right next to a freeway onramp but you would never know. The room and the motel were both quiet. It's an older motel and it shows but it was clean and comfortable, priced nicely too. I would definitely go back.

At arrival the front desk was in argument with a guest trying to check in. The manager was too busy and could not assist is what we were told. After check in we go up to our room, I booked a non smoking room. It smellled horrible, clearly has been used by smokers. The sheets were stained with blood. The paking lot is full of people clearly not hotel guests. No towels in the room, we were told the washing machines were broken. No big deal, we we went back down to try to get new sheets on the bed, the employees were in an argument in the parking lot. We could not get sheets replaced/different room for non smoking. The employees in the argument were from the neighboring hotel, however earlier at check in those same employees were at Best western. We had booked 2 nights, we only stayed for 1.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I read a previous review that the place was in the process of a remodeled back in January. So I hoped by May the remodel had been completed... it was not. Parking was a nightmare. The view was just a chaotic construction zone. Although, the rooms were remodeled, you can see the little things they skimped on and pieces they didn't replace (old-yellow bathroom fan , new paint over dirty closet knobs, headboards not level, places on the wall they forgot to paint, drapes you couldn't open with the draw string, drapes that hung over the AC unit so that air wouldn't circulate in the room, no filter in the AC unit which caused a musty odor smell, the mini refrigerator turned off-had to throw away my leftovers). I cannot express how disappointed my and I were. The photos looked so much better than it really was. The elevator made the scariest noise that scared my kids. The room we had had a bunch of patches everywhere like there used to be holes. The shower was lose and the water barely had pressure. We asked for towels and blankets, no one ever came. Are our blankets felt like they weren’t completely dried. We booked it just to get a nights rest from a road trip and honestly we were better off sleeping in our car. It has potential, they should do better.
