Best Western Plus Champaign/Urbana Inn

The rooms are comfortable and well cared for. Good tv and channel options.This hallway carpet seemed worn. The staff is courteous and helpful. The breakfast was usually eggs with sausage/links. The meat sometimes didn’t appear appetizing but was edible . Limited bread options. Very little wholesome or whole grain choices. Fruit was usually apples and sometimes bananas. All in all the breakfast was better than just cereal and pastry, but I’ve had better at other Best Westerns, but we came here to sleep not dine necessarily..Remember, it’s a hotel not a restaurant.

We got a huge room with a great bed and ample pillows. We really like the pod coffee maker. Wish the refrigerator had a freezer but, overall a great room. This property has a nice pool and a big fitness center. A large, clean breakfast area but hot items were limited to sausage, fried eggs and the waffles. The cappuccino machine was a real Plus. |Check in was fast and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were no license copying issues that some of the earlier reviews spoke of.

Positive: Good cable. Bed linen ,bathroom fridge, floors and other basics clean and in good condition Negative: Sign on bathroom wall listing exorbitant prices for taking or Damaging items! Pool and exercise equipment out of order. HVAC filthy. Very limited breakfast compared to other places with similar cost.

first thing, Couldn't understand the man working at the desk. Elevator didn't look like it's been cleaned in very long time. I would wash hands after touching anything. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, pillows lumpy. Left my shampoo and conditioner in our truck so used their shampoo and conditioner, they water down the conditioner so bring your own. Breakfast was you typical hotel breakfast. Looks like they are nice enough to let homeless come and get something to eat. Very close to everything, shopping and restaurants

I don’t like leaving non 5 star reviews. That said, I think there’s a couple things to mention. When booking the night, I listed that I had 3 pets. Called corporate to make sure bringing a cat was okay, which it was. I was comparing prices and each hotel had pet fees included during the booking process, except this Best Western. Which was definitely a selling point. No mention of fees to be incurred. When I arrived I was charged $40 per pet per night. Need to keep that in mind. I could have gotten an entire home on AirBnB for the price I ended up paying. The room was nice, nothing to complain about. Comfortable bed, refrigerator, nice tv, and the shower was fine as well.
