Best Western Plus Brooklyn Bay Hotel

overall pleasant hotel in a nice location and decent neighborhood. staff were very kind and helpful The showers were a little troublesome because there's no door on the shower and tends to spray outside all over the floor. room service was okay sometimes they come through sometimes they skip they always answer if you need a help though. overall I would say it's a good place to stay in wish you've said Bay area have fun!

Great place to stay for a few nights, we were attending a wedding just a few blocks from the hotel and it was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable room, the only thing missing was a small microwave so we could reheat some leftover pizza. Their Breakfast area was really good, lots of choices, hot food and great coffee. Also, for being in a Brooklyn area with traffic amd a bus stop, we heard ZERO noises. Quiet, so we could relax and sleep in.

Paid $450 for crappy hotel. Odor in room, sink was sluggish. Pulled the rod to open curtain, fell off on my hand. Shelf fell out of refrig upon opening it. Breakfast was uninspired- food either undercooked or dried out. I hope never to have to stay there again, only reason we did was it was within walking distance to where we needed to be. Ridiculous amount of money spent!

Good, quiet rooms and friendly staff, but the biggest attraction in my opinion is the location. Great local restaurants and a 20 minute walk through quiet neighborhoods to the nearest metro station. I was hesitant about staying so far south of Manhattan, but it was a great decision. Would recommend to anyone visiting NYC.

Positive: Outstanding for a 2-star hotel. Superb location if you need to visit that area of New York. Beautiful scenery (for Brooklyn) next to a canal and lots of excellent dining options. Flawless service, with (almost) every staff member going above and beyond. Negative: Fridge broke 2 days after we checked in, but staff let us use theirs. Not ideal, but the speed and professionalism with which they handled it in the middle of the night was more than enough to make up for it.
