Best Western Nursanickel Hotel

Clean rooms. Bedding very nice. Bathroom towels in good shape and bright white. Soaps are mounted on bathroom wall and sink area which is very convenient. Nice lamps and furnishings. A hot breakfast is provided. I liked the added items such as delicious jams for the waffles. Granola was available and extra almond pieces and pecans as well. Just the extra touches were nice st this hotel. We will definitely make this our overnight when traveling through Dalhart.

Positive: Breakfast was great! Staff was very friendly! They gave us awesome recommendations for places to eat. Negative: The trains were loud, but there is not a hotel in town that you could stay at and not hear the train.

First of all, do not book through Trip Advisor. Prices are cheaper going directly through the property. ($116 vs $107).||Property was well maintained, room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bathroom was very small (tub/toilet). They had a good breakfast, and 24 hr coffee/juice.||Biggest issue was noise. There is a stop light right across from property, so you get a lot of truck noise. Plus there are trains - one or two went by in the night. ***Bring ear plugs.

Friendly staff greeted us as we walked into the office. Paperwork was a snap. They advised where I could get a drink. The room was clean and spacious. Parking was simple. Breakfast was hot and good variety. We would go back and enjoy the stay.

This is an old hotel that has been very well maintained. The room was spacious . The bed was comfortable and the carpet was clean. They really made sure everything we needed was in the room or nearby. The breakfast layout was excellent . The staff were outstanding! Cash and his Supervisor really stood out! There is a train that runs through right past the hotel that we were warned about, but frankly, we didn't find it annoying at all. This community has a dairy farm and feed lots, which creates a strong odor at certain times of the year for miles. Yet, we did not notice it in our room.
